One particular source of pride to Restaurant 1280 is that a large part of our dishes is homegrown and homemade with patience and painstaking care, just like in days gone by—from our canederli bread dumplings to tagliatelle, spätzle pasta, schlutzkrapfen ravioli and strudel in a variety of forms. The ingredients we use are top quality, sourced from organic farms, and boast a short supply chain.
Wine is always one of our leading stars: Stored in purpose-built refrigerator cellars at a constant temperature and humidity, we stock dozens upon dozens of superlative bottles that are just waiting to be uncorked. Although the majority are South Tyrolean wines, the rest of Italy is well represented in the vast and varied wine list, which also includes a selection from over the border.
